CIMBEES (01-2013 -- 12-2015)
CIMBEES collaborative project is to develop a modular and innovative ecological habitat whose main characteristics are:
The aim of CIMBEES is to provide a dedicated ergonomic, healthy and progressive environment for first-time buyers (affordability and scalability of spaces) and frail (homecare), integrating virtual reality tools in phases of design, prescription, manufacture, installation and operation of housing.
This project addresses the themes of sustainable development and green building through the use of wood material and the digital model that integrates the products' life cycle, manufacturing processes, the sanitary quality of the materials used at the stage of the habitat's design to minimize its environmental impact by comparing cycle analysis of products potentially implemented.
The project also aims to address current social issues, including those of the affordability of housing by young buyers (target € 1,500 / m²), and fragile elderly.
CIMBEES is based on a strong and coherent partnership including actors across the industry, from design to the construction of the habitat (Charpentes Martin / Natura Concept/ Saint Gobain / Legrand / Holo3 / CSTB / ICube / SAGE).
- energy efficient to achieve a passive energy habitat and easily become a positive energy habitat;
- healthy and designed with bio-based materials with low environmental impact;
- a safe automation system for protection against domestic accidents, fire protection and intrusion;
- accessible even if dependent or with loss of autonomy;
- scalable by its modular design and its adaptability to the requirements of use in people's lives changing.

EVEIL3D (01-2012 -- 12-2014)
The EVEIL-3D project proposes to combine technologies coming from the field of immersive virtual reality to learn of foreign langage.
The objective of EVEIL-3D is to develop an innovative learning tool, a serious game in a virtual world to improve the acquisition of a foreign language. The main idea is to use new immersive technologies and communication to facilitate and optimize the learning of a foreign language. The immersive serious game to create a situation of communication both spontaneous and contextualized. Through EVEIL-3D, we would like to bring a new way of teaching to reach students' interest.
The EVEIL-3D approach is based on the contextualized use of knowledge and technology from involved universities and specialized companies, particularly in the field of virtual reality, image processing and automatic speech processing.
